Everything on The Edgewater’s part, and I mean EVERYTHING, went very well. You and your team made the entire process, from our first contact to the loading of equipment at the end, go very smoothly. Timothy Carr was instrumental in helping me place this meeting at The Edgewater. He was very responsive to all our requests. The views from the Olympic room were spectacular!!! And People really appreciated a location that was not a chain hotel. Carol was very helpful in planning all of our f&b. She had suggested a couple of menu items which were a huge hit for our lunches! She paid close attention to all of our meeting details which made it a success! She was very, very prompt in responding to my many emails.

The food that we were served was such a cut above anything I’ve ever experienced at national conferences we’ve done. It was so amazing. There was never anything that wasn’t just right. The presentation was also amazing. I’ve never seen some of these road guys line up like this. Usually, they’re looking for ways to go out and expense a meal. They had this dish of paella that just blew everybody away. After that, breakfast started at seven and I pretty much had a full house no later than 7:15. There was no rolling in five minutes before we were supposed to start.

The Edgewater Hotel was the perfect location for the PIE Network’s fifth annual policy summit; the ambiance of the hotel couldn’t have been better. We are grateful for the well-planned, excellent assistance and guidance provided by Carol Seng, the Conference Services Manager. Carol was supportive of all our needs – and they were many. Erik Hagen of Swank Audio Visuals provided flawless service. He was extremely accommodating with all of our last minute changes. Jeff Sankey, the Director of Banquet Operations and his staff Craig Chiu, Keith Scarmato, Bernie York, Larry Garvin, and anyone else I have missed from Jeff’s staff, provided exemplary service to our group. They were able and willing to solve any problems we encountered immediately and with such professional attitudes. I must say they are a superb banquet operations team and the best I have every worked with. I feel the chef was like the wizard of oz – we never saw him but we knew someone was managing the magic in the kitchen. Please tell him the food was just fantastic!
